Saturday Looks Good To Me

imageSaturday Looks Good To Me have changed their sound quite heavily from their first few EPs, which were reverb drenched Motown pop through and through. Now, they’re more of your standard indie-pop/rock act, though admittedly continue to have a deft songwriting touch. Their Fill Up The Room LP was one of my musical highlights of 2007, despite managing to narrowly miss them playing live in the UK, Canada and the United States…

Learn To Live With Your Heartbreaks appeared on their 2006 LP (basically a collection of odds and sods recorded since 2000). I have been listening to it frequently. As of yet, its sunny upbeat pessimism hasn’t helped me act as advised… but enough of that, its a lovely lovely pop song.

The worst that can happen, baby, you’ll just curl up and die“. Well, yes, indeed…
