Final Snowboarding Lesson

As Cypress Mountain had had around 35cm of snow the two previous nights, we headed up on Saturday for our final lesson. The weather wasn’t ideal – although it wasn’t that cold, it pissed it down all day. We were both soaked to the skin.

It did mean the slopes were virtually empty and no queues for the lifts, which can only be a good thing. I had lots of fun tackling some of the scarier blue runs, getting down them successfully without scaring myself too much, though often not with the most elegant turns.

Added bonus: I didn’t lose any gloves this week.
