Grouse Mountain / Arrival of Parents

This morning I went up Grouse Mountain with Becky and her family. The place is absolutely awesome. Gorgeous views over the mountains ranges…

…Vancouver itself…

…and further afield. And so much snow! We weren’t skiing, just having a nose about, but the cable car up was well worth it and I now can’t wait to get skiing in the new year [even if I’m going to be made look foolish by children half my age/height]…

Met my parents at their hotel this evening and took them for sushi. Think they were rather jetlagged and tired, unsurprisingly, so not entirely sure what they made of the sushi. Tomorrow should be more fruitful. It is also the day Becky heads home for just over a week to spend some time in Glastonbury… I’m guessing it’ll feel pretty odd being over here without her…
